The Pink Panther character is a silent cartoon comic genius. His quiet nature and visual antics are hilarious. Everyone loves Pink Panther.

The Pink Panther was created by the legendary animator Friz Freleng, of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies fame, and cartoon producer David H. DePatie. The Pink Panther cartoon character made his debut in 1964, in the Blake Edwards' cinematic comedy masterpiece The Pink Panther, starring the legendary Peter Sellers, in the movie's animated title sequence. The animated short was so well received that a few years later, it spawned a whole new market for the character, Saturday morning cartoons. The movie theme written by Henry Mancini became a successful pop music hit and was also the theme for the cartoons.
